Not far from the city of Bandung, precisely in the District Rancabali approximately 47 km south of Bandung, there is a cool area surrounded by tea garden named Rancabali Patengan Situ (Lake Patengan). According to the information we read told that the name originated from the term Patengan Situ namely Sunda-teangan Pateangan meaning seeking each other. Communities around bermitos that yore there lived a king's son named Ki Santang and the goddess Rengganis who love each other but separated so long. because of deep love, they find each other and finally meet at the Rock of Love. Goddess Rengganis then ask made lake and a boat to sail together. The boat has now become an island shaped like a heart and called Asmara Island (Island Sasaka). The legend says that if we stopped into the stone of love and romance surrounding the island, we will find eternal love like them
